Bloomsburg Tennis Downs the University of the Sciences

BLOOMSBURG- The Bloomsburg University men and women's tennis team defeated the University of the Sciences on Saturday afternoon. The men's team won by a score of 7-1 while the women's team won their match 9-0.

For the men, the Huskies won all three of their double matches. The team of Dan Gal (South Park/South Park) and Ryan Glubo (Old Bridge, NJ/ Old Bridge) won 8-1 in the number one spot.

In singles action, Gal defeated Roberto Franco 6-1,6-0 in the number one spot. While, Glubo scored 4-6,7-6 (4), 10-6 to defeat Tyler Weisel in the number two spot.

For the women, the Huskies won all three of their double matches, and took the win on all six of their single matches. In the number one spot Emily Murphy (Worcester/ Methacton) defeated Amanda Bedway by a score of 6-0,6-1.

Bloomsburg will take on Philadelphia University tomorrow at 12:00 noon.
